The idea for Receptive Leader was born from a basic principle that guides human behavior – people have a desire to be heard and understood. By first listening to your team and understanding their needs and challenges, a new level of connection, motivation, and productivity can be reached.
Driven by empathy
Receptive Leadership is a practice for emerging leaders to build up their team on a strong foundational bond of trust and understanding. Receptive Leaders will be in tune with the needs of their team, understand what drives their success, and repeat that process to create a team of master achievers.
Jane Meserole
Receptive Leader
Jane Meserole is a business professional with a passion for building people up. After jumping into a leadership role abroad at age 23 and managing a team of tenured employees, Jane experienced the difficult position of being an emerging leader and building trust from scratch. Jane has been involved in community leadership roles, business management roles, and education and behavioral health throughout her career. Much of Jane’s inspiration is derived from behavioral psychology and connecting with people on a human level.
